About Role:
You will be responsible for designing, mockup, prototyping, and delivering all user interfaces and experiences for the company's Supply Chain Portal. This application will be used by both company employees and suppliers. We expect suppliers can have seamless communications and direct cooperation with our company on the portal. In addition, the portal will help us standardize and centralize supplier-related business processes and govern the data generated along the process. You will collaborate closely with the product manager and engineering lead at a fast pace.

The role's focus is mainly user interface design (around 70%). Meanwhile, we hope you provide insights and industry best practices to user flows/journeys drafted by leadership and product manager.

Responsibilities:
• Improve and complete the design system of the project
• Improve and complete the component library of the project
• Improve current mockups and prototypes in Figma to the pixel-perfect level

Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Masters in design related majors
• 6+ years of experience designing, creating, and advocating user-focused web, mobile, or other digital products
• Mastery of standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, etc.) and any other tools that help you be an effective, collaborative designer. Please note company uses Figma for design.
• Basic understanding of React
• Quickly learn and apply company brand language, pattern of UX, and visual treatment
• Communicate with product manager and engineering lead effectively and patiently
• Provide multiple design options based on collaboration with business and product team
• Efficiently transfer napkin sketches to mockups/prototypes in Figma
• Use best practice to make the UI and UX discussions fun, smooth, and controllable
• A good listener but can push what you believe in an objective way
• Find a balance between design quality and productivity
• Design appropriate questions in user survey to collect the “real” feedbacks from users
