Technicon Design is seeking a skilled Digital Sculptor located in southeast Michigan. This position is responsible for working closely with automotive designers to develop 3D surfaces vehicle interiors using Alias NURBS and SubD modeling.

Portfolios are required for consideration.

Specific Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Transportation design
• 2+ years’ experience as a digital designer in the automotive industry
• Talent and ability to develop 2D sketches to a 3D digital surfaces in Autodesk Alias, applying aesthetic and design sensibility
• Creative background with strong emphasis on digital applications
• Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Polygon modeling ability a plus
