What You'll Do:
- Develop precise Class A Surface data for scale and full-size exterior and interior models using Alias.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with design objectives.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the modeling process by utilizing Alias and staying abreast of industry trends.
- Demonstrate a high level of creativity and problem-solving skills in overcoming design challenges.
- Work independently, exercising autonomy in decision-making, while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Power Skills You'll Bring:
- Proven experience as an Alias CAS Modeler with a portfolio showcasing Class A Surface models.
- Proficiency in Alias and a comprehensive understanding of its applications in design modeling.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge in Sketcher, Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya
- Strong creative aptitude with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Strong ability to create production math models (i.e. die pulls, draft angles, stitching, part breakups, etc.) using high tolerance specifications.
- Strong expertise in rapid prototyping
Qualifications That Will Set You Apart:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Industrial Design or equivalent experience
- 8-12 years of experience
