Job Description / Requirements:
- Responsible for creating data using CATIA V5, benchmarking, supporting clay modeling, craftsmanship sections, master section development, SLA/SLS part creation.
- Collect and maintain static and dynamic clearance requirements for all components
- Consistently communicate project status and participate or lead project meetings and discussions.
- Designing and developing chassis systems, steering systems, braking systems
- Evaluate proposed architecture options or variations (e.g. different motor or battery alternatives, changes to occupant position, additional vehicle variants).
- Create and maintain concept records and inform HQ/Leadership about quality status of concept.
- Resolve unforeseen quality and timing conflicts and drive consensus with responsible parties.
- Follow security protocols and requirements of the R&D Design assets.
- Engineer durable concept structures and mechanisms to showcase unique design properties
- Shows mechanical ability, including Sheet metal fabrication, Welding, Composite fabrication and modification, Prototype model fabrication.
- Support Director in transforming CCO’s vision for Motor Sport Team projects in considering various conceptual, technical, and procedural ideas related to the design development and execution
- Support Projects from ideation to full size model delivery, which includes concept vehicles for design and motorsports division, additionally for low volume production bespoke projects.
- Research new companies and equipment to innovate process of concept vehicle building.
- Assist Director with establishing facility, team and equipment.
- Research and support finance team for their planning
- Inventory tracking, receiving and stocking project materials and tools
- Experience working in Automotive Engineering, prefer Studio Experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in US. Verification of eligibility will be required.
- International Travel is required and a valid passport
Potential Salary Range: 90-140k/yr.
