Technicon Design is currently seeking a highly skilled, expert-level Digital Sculptor in southeast Michigan. This position is responsible for working closely with automotive designers to develop 3D surfaces of vehicle exteriors using Alias NURBS and SubD modeling.

Specific Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Transportation design
• 7+ years’ experience as a digital modeler/sculptor in the automotive industry
• Talent and ability to develop 2D sketch to a 3D digital surface in Autodesk Alias, applying aesthetic and design sensibility
• Creative background with strong emphasis on digital applications
• Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Polygon modeling ability a plus
