Technicon Design is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAE Engineer to join our team. This is a fully on-site position located in Raymond, OH and all applicants must be willing to work onsite.
Responsibilities:
Perform complex CAE analysis in the area of vehicle dynamics, focusing on vehicle handling, ride comfort, NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness), steering, and brake performance.
Utilize 1D/MBD CAE tools such as Matlab/Simulink/Simscape, CarSim, CarMaker, Simpack/Adams, and AmeSim for advanced modeling and simulation tasks.
Develop and implement custom CAE methods to enhance modeling and analysis accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations based on simulation results.
Use programming languages like Python and VBA to automate processes and develop simulation scripts.
Document analysis procedures, results, and develop comprehensive reports.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in CAE tools and vehicle dynamics technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME).
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a CAE analyst specializing in vehicle dynamics.
Proficiency in 1D/MBD CAE tools such as Matlab/Simulink/Simscape, CarSim, CarMaker, Simpack/Adams, and AmeSim.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python and VBA.
Demonstrated ability to develop custom CAE methods for improved analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
An advanced degree in a related field may substitute for 2 years of required experience.
Potential salary range: 80k - 136k / year depending on experience level
