Design Services Consultant


TECHNICON DESIGN is an international Design Consultancy with offices / facilities in the UK, USA, Germany, France, Sweden, China and India. The Company was founded in 1978, working in the Research and Development area of the automotive, transportation and industrial design industries. In 2017 Technicon became part of the larger Segula Technologies group who provide Engineering services to many areas of Industry across the globe.

We work closely with most of the major auto manufacturers and design studios, providing turn-key project development and support from our strategically placed studios in addition to stylists, modellers, designers and engineers from our multinational team for temporary contracts and permanent staff positions.

We are currently seeking a bright, enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Design Services Consultant.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop staffing (contract and permanent) and studio-based WP business.
  • Maintain & develop existing clients by building relationships.
  • Management of Client assigned staff.
  • Source, screen and submit suitable resumes and portfolios for client requirements.
  • Negotiation with client & contractor to determine rates whilst maintaining agreed margins.
  • Negotiation of client contracts and payment terms.
  • Development of new clients in conjunction with Sales.
  • Regular client visits to managers and contractors to build rapport and trust.
  • Preparation and checking contract documentation.
  • Utilization of `Bullhorn` database for record of activity and internal/external communication.
  • Contribute to the improvement of margins and profitability.
  • Work in conjunction with other team members to maximize opportunities & placements.
  • Promote all aspects of Technicon’s and Segula services.
  • Assistance arranging visa’s & work permits as required.
  • Measure client and contract staff satisfaction.

Requirements:
 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner & knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous client facing sales experience.
  • Proactive, flexible attitude.
  • Knowledge or interest in automotive design.
  • Ability to work as part of a creative, dynamic team.
  • Very good English language skills.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
Potential Salary: 60K + a year
