Contract to start 1st September 2026 for one month with possibility of extension depending on workload.

Our client is seeking an experienced Automotive Clay Modeller to join their creative design team in Sweden. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to both existing and new vehicle programmes, working across multiple phases of the design development process.

About the Role

As an Automotive Clay Modeller, you will collaborate closely with designers and development teams to bring concepts to life through high-quality physical models. Your expertise will play a key role in transforming design ideas into reality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine high-quality 3D physical models.
  • Perform clay modelling on both exterior and interior vehicle designs.
  • Conduct 3D scanning of physical models.
  • Prepare model armatures and supporting structures.
  • Prepare models and components for milling and paint processes.
  • Work closely with creative design teams throughout the design development cycle.

Required Experience & Skills

✅ Proven experience in automotive clay modelling.

✅ Strong knowledge of modern automotive studio techniques.

✅ Experience with 3D scanning software and processes.

✅ Experience with on-plate milling is highly advantageous.

✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
