Job Purpose 

Support the development of production-ready Color, Material, Finish (CMF) and graphic solutions for Powersports & Products (PS&P). Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Product Planning, Manufacturing, and suppliers to create compelling color and graphic proposals that strengthen product appeal, brand identity, and customer value. Develop CMF specifications, graphics, and supporting documentation from concept through production implementation.

Key Responsibilities

CMF & Graphics Development

  • Create color, material, finish, graphic proposals, and UX/UI design for PS&P products.
  • Develop production-feasible color and graphic themes aligned with product objectives and brand direction.
  • Prepare color and graphic specifications, layouts, and development documentation.
  • Assist in color, material, and graphic evaluations throughout the development process.

Technical Development & Production Support

  • Support creation and maintenance of Color and Stripe documents, drawings, specifications, and approval materials.
  • Coordinate with internal function groups, suppliers, and manufacturing teams regarding paint and plastic color development and testing.
  • Participate in quality reviews, build events, and production validation activities.
  • Help resolve design-related issues during development and launch phases.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Design, Engineering, Product Planning, Manufacturing, Supplier, and Purchasing teams.
  • Support design reviews and communicate CMF and graphic intent to project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with global Honda teams and suppliers to ensure alignment and execution.

Visualization & Communication

  • Create graphic layouts, presentations, renderings, and visual materials to communicate design intent.
  • Maintain development tracking documents, approval records, and reference libraries.
  • Present design proposals and development status updates to project teams.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current on CMF trends, graphic design techniques, materials, manufacturing processes, and emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing, and best practices within the design team.
 Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Transportation Design, CMF Design, UX/UI design, or related field.
  • 4+ years of CMF, graphic design, industrial design, or related experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and visualization software.
  • Excellent visual communication, color coordination, and graphic development skills.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, decals, and production constraints is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
  • General understanding of powersports products, customers, market trends, and design development processes.
