About the Role

As a Senior Designer, you'll take on a hands-on, multidisciplinary role, working across a diverse range of creative projects—from impactful presentations and motion graphics to advanced 3D visualisation and experience concepts. You'll combine strategic thinking with exceptional design execution, taking concepts from initial sketch to polished final delivery.

You'll become part of our clients Technology & Innovation team, a cross-functional group of designers, software developers, and hardware engineers focused on creating innovative light-based and interactive "out-of-screen" experiences. Working closely with teams across Design and Engineering, you'll help deliver next-generation in-cabin and exterior automotive experiences.

What You'll Do

• Conceive, develop, and deliver innovative automotive "out-of-screen" experiences across interior and exterior domains.
• Drive projects through the full design process, from ideation and storytelling to validation and implementation support.
• Create compelling visual concepts, prototypes, presentations, motion graphics, and 3D visualisations.
• Present and communicate design proposals to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and refining solutions.
• Resolve technical implementation challenges while maintaining design integrity and brand identity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Sweden and China to ensure solutions are visually engaging, functionally effective, and culturally relevant.
• Deliver production-ready assets, specifications, and documentation.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant design discipline.
• 5 years minimum experience in Automotive Design.
• Strong portfolio and/or show reel demonstrating a broad range of creative projects.
• Exceptional visual communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to solve complex design challenges in fast-paced environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
• Understanding of human factors and user-centred design principles.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Proficiency in:
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • After Effects
  • Blender
  • Figma
  • Motion graphics and animation tools
  • 2D and 3D visualisation workflows
• Experience using AI tools as part of the creative and design process.
