Technicon Design Sweden are seeking a highly organized and culturally versatile Design Management Team Assistant to provide administrative, operational, and coordination support within our clients dynamic Design Management function. This role is essential in ensuring smooth workflows, effective communication, and alignment across multiple design teams and stakeholders.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

As the Design Management Team Assistant, you will:

Communication & Translation

  • Translate business, operational, and design-related materials with accuracy and clarity.
  • Provide live Mandarin–English verbal interpretation in meetings, presentations, and strategic discussions.

Coordination & Operations

  • Organize and support executive-level meetings, design reviews, workshops, and cross-functional events.
  • Ensure all logistics, materials, and documentation are prepared and delivered on time.

Administrative Support

  • Manage calendars, appointments, international travel, and visa applications.
  • Handle daily administrative tasks and requests to ensure seamless team operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a key liaison between Design Leadership and internal departments.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing, workflow alignment, and collaboration across design studios.
  • Support governance, reporting, and planning activities within the Design Management function.
 

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

  • Education in Business & Cultural Communications or related field.
  • Previous experience as a translator, interpreter, or teacher is highly valued.

💡 Personal Attributes & Skills

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (both written and verbal).
  • Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Cross-cultural awareness and adaptability.
  • Familiarity with design workflows and creative environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
  • Swedish language skills are a plus.
