Technicon Design is looking for a Senior Exterior Designer to drive the conception, development, and execution of cutting-edge exterior vehicle designs. This is a leadership role where you’ll manage the entire process—from initial concept to final tooling data—while mentoring junior designers and shaping the brand’s design vision.
✅ Lead exterior design projects from concept to production.
✅ Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and marketing teams for seamless integration.
✅ Produce high-quality sketches, renderings, and 3D models aligned with project goals.
✅ Stay ahead of industry trends, materials, and technologies to infuse innovation.
✅ Mentor interns and junior designers, fostering creativity and growth.
✅ Report directly to Chief Designers and support strategic design direction.
✔ Master’s degree in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
✔ Minimum 5 years of automotive design experience with a strong portfolio.
✔ Deep understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and market trends.
✔ Proficiency in Photoshop, Alias, Blender, and V-Red.
🌍 On-site in Gothenburg with occasional travel.
