Technicon is seeking a highly motivated and analytically minded Creative Designer / Design Strategist (m/f/d) to support the innovation and advanced design activities of a major international automotive OEM in Munich. In this role, you will combine creative thinking with market insight to help shape future product experiences.
Contribute to the development of innovative design concepts by applying solid design principles, industry workflows, and creative methodologies.
Research and analyse market trends, user behaviours, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities for future products.
Translate strategic insights into design recommendations, concept directions, and visual storyboards.
Communicate design ideas clearly and convincingly through presentations, visuals, and structured documentation in both English and Chinese.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design, engineering, marketing, and strategy.
Evaluate and refine concepts through iterative thinking, structured exploration, and logical decision-making.
Support multiple design initiatives in parallel while maintaining a clear and organised workflow.
Create high-quality visual materials using tools such as PowerPoint, Photoshop, Figma, and Blender.
Participate actively in team discussions and contribute objective, well-reasoned design perspectives.
Approach challenges with creativity and strong problem-solving skills.
Take initiative in driving design ideas forward while remaining open to feedback and guidance.
Background in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Design Strategy, or a related field.
Strong analytical mindset combined with creative design thinking.
Confident communicator with strong presentation skills in English and Chinese.
Proficient in PowerPoint, Photoshop, Figma, Blender, and other visual design tools.
Highly organised, structured, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Team player with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.

Willingness to work onsite at the OEM’s design and innovation hub in Munich.
