Technicon is seeking a highly talented and motivated Exterior Creative Designer (m/f/d) to join our on-site design team in Munich. In this role, you will support the creation of visionary exterior concepts for next-generation mobility solutions and contribute to the full creative process from ideation to physical models.
Develop and apply innovative exterior design concepts, surfaces, and processes in a professional studio environment.
Generate advanced creative concepts using appropriate design tools and equipment.
Produce excellent ideation work with strong aesthetic sensitivity and engineering awareness.
Create visually strong proposals and make informed decisions about form, proportion, and visual detail.
Present ideas clearly through sketches, renderings, 3D models, and digital presentations.
Develop and refine complex sculptural forms.
Translate early ideas into sketches, renderings, theme boards, and presentation models.
Contribute to market-relevant proposals and integrate new technologies into product concepts.
Apply solid knowledge of materials, manufacturing, and rapid-prototyping techniques.
Collaborate closely with clay and digital modellers, engineers, and innovation teams.
Prepare professional design presentations using Illustrator, PowerPoint, or similar tools.
Use 2D and 3D design tools such as Photoshop, SketchBook Pro, Alias, Rhino, Maya, etc.
Work on multiple design projects simultaneously and manage priorities.
Communicate clearly and effectively within larger cross-functional teams.
Bring structure, organization, and strong methodological thinking into the design workflow.
Actively contribute to team objectives and support discussions with creative input.
Degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Excellent sketching and ideation skills.
Experience with 3D tools (Alias, Rhino, Maya, or comparable).
Strong aesthetic judgement and attention to detail.
Confident in visual storytelling and design communication.
Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about automotive design.
Ability to work onsite in Munich.
