About the Role
Technicon Design Spain is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Automotive Design & Engineering Program Manager to join our Barcelona office. In this role, you will lead cross-functional projects focused on interior and exterior automotive design and engineering, ensuring seamless collaboration between stakeholders, design teams, and engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage full-cycle automotive design and engineering projects (interior & exterior).

  • Organize and run meetings with design, engineering, and digital modeling teams.

  • Act as a key liaison with stakeholders and the end client, including on-site meetings.

  • Ensure project milestones and gateways are achieved on schedule.

  • Provide clear technical guidance to digital modellers regarding engineering requirements.

  • Drive collaboration across large teams while maintaining structure and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Automotive Design or Engineering (or related field).

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience managing full turn-key projects in automotive design/engineering.

  • Strong knowledge of automotive development and design processes.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident working with stakeholders.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of ICEM Surf and CATIA data.

  • Highly organized, methodical, and analytical with strong planning skills.

  • Proven experience leading and motivating large teams.

  • Flexible and resilient under tight deadlines and changing priorities.

  • Team-oriented, but also able to work independently with strong personal drive.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish is a plus.

  • Must be able to live and work in Barcelona, Spain.
